Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate assistance with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, feeding)
• Monitor and record vital signs and report changes promptly
• Assist with safe patient transfers and mobility support
• Maintain clear, accurate documentation of care provided
• Collaborate with nurses and care team to support patient plans
• Ensure a clean, safe environment and follow infection control practices
• Respect patient dignity, privacy, and cultural preferences at all times

Qualifications

• Current CNA certification in California (required)
• Valid CPR/BLS certification (preferred or required upon hire)
• Ability to pass background check and required health screenings
• Current immunizations and TB clearance per facility policy
• Positive attitude, strong communication skills, and a team-oriented approach

Education

• High school diploma or GED required; CNA certification required

Knowledge & Skills

• Comfortable providing direct patient care and ADLs
• Basic knowledge of vital signs, patient observation, and reporting
• Safe patient handling and transfer techniques
• Infection control and basic safety procedures
• Basic documentation skills; ability to learn facility EMR
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work with diverse patients
