Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to a diverse patient population across ICU, MedSurg Tele, and PCU units
• Float between multiple campuses and units as assigned, adapting quickly to different environments and patient acuities
• Titrate and manage intravenous drips such as Heparin, Cardizem, Amiodarone, Nitro, Dopamine, Dobutamine, and Insulin
• Interpret cardiac rhythms and telemetry strips to ensure timely interventions
• Collaborate with charge nurses, physicians, and interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans and post-discharge care

Qualifications

• Current and unencumbered RN license in Arizona or compact state
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum of 2 years of acute care experience, with at least 1 year in an ICU setting
• Must pass dysrhythmia exam with 80% or higher within two attempts
• Must meet 50-mile radius rule and not be employed with CommonSpirit facilities within the past year
• Experience with Cerner EHR is preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Telemetry monitoring and ECG interpretation
• Drip titration and management of critical medications
• Critical care nursing skills for ICU and PCU patients
• MedSurg nursing skills for a variety of patient populations
• Comfortable floating across units and campuses
• Strong communication, adaptability, and teamwork skills
