Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform thorough dental cleanings and oral health assessments
• Take and develop X-rays to aid in diagnosis
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventative care
• Document patient care and treatment plans accurately
• Collaborate with dentists to provide comprehensive dental care
• Maintain a sterile and organized work environment

Qualifications

• Current Dental Hygienist license in Virginia (or compact license, if applicable)
• Completion of an accredited dental hygiene program
• CPR/BLS certification
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Commitment to providing excellent patient care

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of dental hygiene procedures and equipment
• Proficiency in taking and analyzing dental X-rays
• Familiarity with dental practice software and patient records
• Excellent patient education and communication skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Attention to detail and infection control protocols
