Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding preventive dental care, including cleanings, fluoride treatments, and patient assessments
• Collaborate with our dentists to deliver comprehensive oral health services tailored to each patient's needs
• Educate patients on proper brushing, flossing, and other preventive care techniques to keep smiles bright
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming clinical environment that puts patients at ease
• Accurately document patient care and update health histories in our electronic records system
• Ensure strict adherence to infection control and safety protocols in every interaction

Qualifications

• Active Dental Hygienist license in the state of Virginia
• Current CPR certification (BLS for Healthcare Providers)
• Strong patient communication and interpersonal skills
• Attention to detail with a focus on quality care and safety
• Experience with dental software and digital charting is a plus

Knowledge & Skills

• Thorough understanding of dental hygiene procedures, instruments, and best practices
• Working knowledge of infection control standards and OSHA regulations
• Ability to explain oral health recommendations in a friendly, clear manner
• Team collaboration skills to coordinate seamlessly with dentists and assistants
• Strong organizational skills to manage patient flow and documentation efficiently
