Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate care to laboring mothers, postpartum patients, and newborns
• Monitor maternal and fetal status using electronic fetal monitoring systems
• Titrate Pitocin safely and confidently to support labor progression
• Circulate in the operating room during C-sections
• Deliver couplet care to mothers and babies, promoting bonding and education
• Collaborate with a dynamic healthcare team and float to other units as needed

Qualifications

• Active RN license in good standing
• 2+ years of LDRP experience with couplet care
• BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications (AHA)
• Intermediate Fetal Monitoring certification
• Experience circulating in OR for C-sections
• EPIC charting experience is a plus

Knowledge & Skills

• Labor and delivery, postpartum, and mother-baby nursing skills
• Fetal heart rate monitoring and interpretation
• Pitocin titration and high-alert medication management
• Comfortable with floating between units
• EPIC electronic health record proficiency
