Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting with compassion and respect
• Support mobility by helping residents transfer, reposition, and ambulate safely using proper body mechanics
• Monitor and report changes in residents' health or behavior to nursing staff promptly
• Engage residents in meaningful activities and provide emotional support to promote quality of life
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment; assist with feeding and recording intake/output
• Collaborate with the care team to ensure each resident receives personalized, dignified care

Qualifications

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to lift and transfer residents safely
• Compassion, patience, and a positive attitude
• Prior experience in long-term care or skilled nursing is a plus, but not required

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of resident care procedures and safety protocols
• Skill in using mobility aids and transfer equipment
• Understanding of infection control practices
• Ability to work effectively as part of a care team
• Strong documentation and observation skills
