Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality MRI procedures with independence and precision, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
• Apply comprehensive MRI safety protocols to protect patients, staff, and yourself.
• Use independent judgment and initiative to adapt imaging techniques to individual patient needs.
• Collaborate with the Director of Radiology and Medical Director to deliver exceptional diagnostic imaging.
• Assist in a range of radiology services including diagnostic radiology, MRI, and related quality control.
• Maintain accurate patient records and uphold quality assurance standards.

Qualifications

• Completion of a formal AMA approved school of Radiologic Technology.
• Prior experience performing MRI in a hospital setting.
• Active ARRT Registry and MRI Registry certifications.
• CPR certification.
• Venipuncture certification or willingness to obtain within 3 months of hire.
• At least two recent supervisory references.

Education

• Completion of an AMA approved school of Radiologic Technology

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong knowledge of magnetic resonance imaging principles and safety.
• Proficient in venipuncture and contrast administration.
• Ability to work independently under limited supervision.
• Excellent communication and patient care skills.
• Understanding of radiology department operations and quality control.
