Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide expert nursing care to a diverse Neuro Telemetry patient population, including those with CVA, TBI, spinal surgery, and complex medical conditions
• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms, titrating critical infusions such as Heparin, Amiodarone, and Cardizem
• Perform essential skills including Foley catheter insertion and central line dressing changes while maintaining strict sterile field
• Collaborate with a fast-paced interdisciplinary team to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care
• Give and receive detailed bedside reports to ensure seamless continuity of care
• Float as needed to MS/Tele or partner units within the hospital network

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Arizona or compact state
• 2+ years of experience in a Level 1 Trauma center
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
• Must pass a dysrhythmia exam prior to acceptance
• Neuro nursing experience is a plus
• Ability to adapt quickly to a fast-paced environment

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficient in EKG and dysrhythmia interpretation
• Experienced with Cerner EMR and WOWs
• Skilled in central line dressing changes and Foley catheter insertion
• Knowledge of medication titration for cardiac drips
• Strong critical thinking and communication skills
• Comfortable working with trached patients and complex diagnoses
