Roles & Responsibilities

• Monitor vital signs (blood pressure and pulse oximetry) before, during, and after oral surgery procedures
• Assist the oral surgeon with nitrous oxide and IV sedation, ensuring patient safety and comfort
• Take panoramic X-rays to aid in accurate diagnosis and treatment planning
• Support wisdom tooth surgeries with expert chair-side assistance
• Prepare and sterilize surgical instruments and operatory rooms, maintaining a clean and organized environment
• Provide patients with clear post-operative instructions and reassurance

Qualifications

• Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) or equivalent experience preferred
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Experience with vital signs monitoring, nitrous oxide, IV sedation, and panoramic X-rays
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced oral surgery environment
• Strong communication skills and a caring, patient-focused attitude

• Proficient in vital signs monitoring (BP/PulseOx)
• Comfortable with nitrous oxide administration and IV sedation
• Skilled in taking panoramic X-rays
• Knowledgeable in wisdom tooth surgery procedures
• Excellent sterile technique and infection control practices
