Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, personalized care to residents and patients
• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and eating
• Monitor and record vital signs, and report any changes to the nursing team
• Support patient mobility with safe transfers and positioning
• Maintain a clean, safe, and comforting environment
• Document care provided accurately and promptly
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members

Qualifications

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in Pennsylvania
• BLS/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Previous experience in a skilled nursing facility or long-term care is a plus but not required
• Strong communication skills and a caring, patient-centered attitude
• Must comply with facility background check and health requirements

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of basic patient care and hygiene practices
• Familiarity with vital signs monitoring and documentation
• Understanding of infection control and safety protocols
• Compassionate and empathetic approach to patient interactions
• Ability to work well within a team and follow instructions
• Good time management and organizational skills
