Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist orthodontists during procedures, ensuring a smooth workflow
• Prepare and sterilize instruments to maintain the highest safety standards
• Take and develop diagnostic x-rays for patient care
• Educate patients on post-treatment care and oral hygiene
• Maintain accurate patient records and manage appointment flow
• Help patients feel at ease with a friendly and supportive approach

Qualifications

• Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) or equivalent training
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Experience in orthodontics preferred but not required
• Radiology/x-ray certification as required by state
• A positive attitude and genuine interest in patient well-being

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization protocols
• Understanding of orthodontic appliances and procedures
• Proficiency with dental practice management software
• Excellent communication and patient care skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
