Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate daily care to residents, including assistance with bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
• Take and record vital signs, reporting changes to the nursing team
• Support residents with mobility, transfers, and positioning to keep them safe and comfortable
• Help with meals and feeding, ensuring proper nutrition and hydration
• Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents
• Document care provided and communicate observations to the care team
• Build meaningful relationships with residents and their families through friendly, respectful interactions

Qualifications

• Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in Pennsylvania
• Current BLS/CPR certification (or ability to obtain)
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting is a plus
• A caring, patient, and dependable nature

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of basic patient care techniques and safety protocols
• Strong communication skills to interact with residents, families, and the care team
• Ability to lift and transfer residents safely (up to 50 lbs or more with assistance)
• Time management and multitasking in a fast-paced environment
• Empathy and patience when caring for others
