Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care to residents at Mountain View Center
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and on time
• Monitor patient conditions and promptly report changes to the care team
• Document patient care thoroughly and maintain accurate health records
• Collaborate with nurses, doctors, and other healthcare professionals to ensure quality outcomes
• Uphold strict infection control and safety protocols at all times

Qualifications

• Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in Vermont or compact state
• Must be local to the Rutland, VT area (LOCAL ONLY)
• Must have own reliable transportation
• Must have completed COVID-19 vaccine series or present a documented religious/medical exemption
• Must be able to commit to every weekend as part of the schedule
• Current BLS/CPR certification preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong medication administration and dosage calculation skills
• Knowledge of nursing care plans and patient assessments
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR)
• Upholds professionalism and empathy in all patient interactions
