Candidate Pay Rate: $35 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Assist the orthodontist during patient examinations and procedures
- Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment
- Take and process dental X-rays
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene and orthodontic care
- Maintain accurate patient records and treatment plans
- Manage inventory of orthodontic supplies and materials
- Provide excellent patient care and comfort throughout their visit
Qualifications
- Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) or equivalent certification
- Current X-ray certification (or ability to obtain)
- Previous experience in orthodontics preferred, but we are happy to train the right candidate!
- CPR/BLS certification
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Graduation from an accredited dental assisting program
Knowledge & Skills
- Proficiency in dental software and record-keeping
- Knowledge of orthodontic instruments and techniques
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Compassionate and patient-focused approach
- Team player with a positive attitude
