Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide thorough dental cleanings and preventive care to patients
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and at-home care
• Take and analyze dental x-rays to assist in diagnoses
• Support the dentist during procedures and treatments
• Maintain accurate patient records and follow strict infection control protocols

Qualifications

• Current Virginia Dental Hygiene license
• Associate degree in Dental Hygiene or related field
• CPR/BLS certification
• Excellent patient communication and care skills
• Ability to work comfortably in a fast-paced clinical environment

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of dental instruments, equipment, and sterilization techniques
• Strong attention to detail for thorough patient care
• Ability to make patients feel at ease and comfortable
• Experience with dental software and record-keeping systems
• Team player with a positive, friendly attitude
