Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of MRI procedures with precision and care, producing high-quality diagnostic images
• Operate MRI equipment while ensuring patient safety through strict adherence to MRI safety protocols
• Work independently under limited supervision, using your clinical judgment and initiative
• Collaborate with the Director of Radiology and Medical Director to deliver exceptional patient care
• Provide imaging services to inpatients, outpatients, and emergency patients of all ages in a 24/7 department
• Participate in quality control and quality assurance activities to maintain the highest standards

Qualifications

• Graduation from an AMA approved school of Radiologic Technology
• Previous MRI experience in a hospital setting
• ARRT Registry certification
• MRI Registry certification
• CPR certification
• Venipuncture certification or willingness to obtain within 3 months of hire
• At least 2 recent supervisory references

Education

• Graduate of an AMA approved school of Radiologic Technology

Knowledge & Skills

• Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) techniques and procedures
• Radiologic Technology and patient positioning
• ARRT and MRI Registry certifications
• Comprehensive understanding of MRI safety
• Venipuncture skills
• Ability to work independently with sound judgment
