Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate emergency care to patients of all ages in a fast-paced 27-bed ER
• Triage patients efficiently and prioritize care based on acuity
• Collaborate with a dedicated team of nurses, EMTs, paramedics, and support staff
• Administer medications, perform treatments, and monitor patient responses
• Document accurately in EPIC electronic health records
• Educate patients and families on discharge instructions and follow-up care

Qualifications

• Current unrestricted RN license
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Room experience
• Driver's license required for verification of 50-mile radius rule
• Ability to pass an open-book clinical exam with 90% or above during orientation
• Willingness to adhere to facility policies including artificial nail restrictions

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficiency with EPIC charting system
• Strong assessment and triage skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Ability to remain calm and effective under pressure
• Knowledge of emergency nursing protocols and evidence-based practices
