Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
Hours per Week: 35
Candidate Pay Rate: $46 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality physical therapy treatments to residents in a skilled nursing setting
- Collaborate with physical therapists to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Guide patients through therapeutic exercises to improve mobility, strength, and balance
- Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatments as needed
- Educate patients and families on safe movement and home exercise programs
- Work with the interdisciplinary care team to ensure the best outcomes for every resident
Qualifications
- Active Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license in New Hampshire
- Graduate of an accredited PTA program
- Current BLS/CPR certification
- Experience in skilled nursing, rehabilitation, or long-term care is a plus
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Must pass a background check and meet facility badging requirements
Knowledge & Skills
- Knowledge of therapeutic exercise, gait training, and modalities
- Familiarity with electronic medical records and documentation
- Strong patient assessment and problem-solving skills
- Ability to adapt to diverse patient needs and conditions
- Compassionate, patient-centered approach to care
- Reliable and organized with attention to detail
