Roles & Responsibilities

• Collaborate with physical therapists to implement personalized treatment plans that help patients recover mobility and strength
• Guide patients through therapeutic exercises and modalities, adjusting techniques to ensure safety and progress
• Track and document patient responses to treatment, communicating updates to the care team
• Educate patients and families on at-home exercise programs and injury prevention
• Maintain a clean, organized treatment space and support daily clinic operations

Qualifications

• Active Physical Therapist Assistant license in Maryland or eligibility to obtain one
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
• New graduates encouraged to apply; prior experience in a rehab or skilled nursing setting is a plus
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screen

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong knowledge of therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, and rehabilitation modalities
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with patients and staff
• Attention to detail for accurate patient documentation
• Ability to adapt to a variety of patient needs and treatment plans
• Basic computer skills for electronic health records
• Compassionate, patient-centered approach to care
