Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, person-centered care to residents with dignity and respect.
• Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Accurately measure and record vital signs such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
• Help residents with mobility, transfers, and positioning to ensure safety and comfort.
• Observe and report changes in resident condition to the nursing team promptly.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe environment in resident rooms and common areas.
• Document care provided thoroughly and in line with facility policies.

Qualifications

• Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in Pennsylvania.
• Current BLS/CPR certification from the American Heart Association or equivalent.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
• Prior experience in long-term care or skilled nursing is a plus.
• A genuine passion for caring for older adults and supporting their quality of life.

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of basic resident care procedures and infection control practices.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a care team.
• Attention to detail for accurate documentation and reporting.
• Compassion, patience, and ability to remain calm under pressure.
• Time management skills to prioritize care for multiple residents.
