Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform and process high-quality portable X-Ray exams using digital (DR) and computed (CR) radiography, ensuring diagnostic images are transmitted to radiologists for interpretation.
• Travel to nursing homes, skilled nursing facilities, home health settings, and even correctional facilities to provide imaging services to a diverse patient population.
• Unload and set up portable imaging equipment safely, then capture clear, clinically diagnostic images while maintaining patient comfort and dignity.
• Perform and transmit EKGs to cardiologists as needed, ensuring accurate tracings for timely interpretation.
• Scan and submit exam paperwork and billing documents daily, following established protocols to keep operations running smoothly.
• Maintain open communication with dispatch and management, and build strong relationships with facility staff, peers, and patients.
• Keep your vehicle and imaging equipment in top condition, ensuring everything is ready for the next patient.

Qualifications

• Active ARRT certification in Radiography (required)
• State license in Delaware and Maryland (or willingness to obtain/maintain both)
• Valid driver's license in good standing in your applicable state
• COVID-19 vaccination required (exemptions considered with proper documentation)
• Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 100 lbs using ramps and pulleys (reasonable accommodations available)
• Willingness to travel between Wilmington, DE and Easton, MD areas

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficiency in portable X-Ray equipment (DR/CR) and EKG acquisition
• Strong knowledge of radiologic positioning and safety standards
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with patients, families, and facility staff
• Ability to work independently and manage a dynamic schedule
• Organizational skills for accurate documentation and billing submission
