Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform thorough dental cleanings and scaling to promote oral health
• Take and analyze dental x-rays to assist in diagnosis
• Assess patients' oral health and report findings to the dentist
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventive care
• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure confidentiality
• Sterilize and prepare dental instruments and treatment rooms

Qualifications

• Current Dental Hygienist license in the state of Pennsylvania
• CPR/BLS certification is required
• Experience in a dental practice setting is preferred
• Compassionate and patient-focused approach
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong knowledge of dental hygiene procedures and best practices
• Proficiency with dental radiography and safety protocols
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Detail-oriented with strong documentation abilities
• Familiarity with dental software and patient management systems
