Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform thorough dental cleanings and scaling to keep patients' smiles healthy and bright.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene techniques and preventive care for long-lasting results.
• Take and develop dental X-rays with precision and care, ensuring accurate diagnostics.
• Assist the dentist during procedures, providing a comfortable and calm patient experience.
• Maintain detailed patient records and treatment plans to support continuity of care.
• Sterilize and prepare dental instruments and equipment, upholding the highest safety standards.

Qualifications

• Active Dental Hygienist license in the state of Virginia (or willingness to obtain before start).
• Current CPR/BLS certification.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to connect with patients.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to providing exceptional care.
• Previous dental office experience is a plus; new graduates are encouraged to apply!

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid knowledge of dental hygiene procedures, scaling, and root planing.
• Proficiency with dental software and digital X-ray systems.
• Ability to educate patients with empathy and clarity.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Understanding of infection control and OSHA standards.
