Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional orthodontic care by assisting dentists with procedures and patient management
• Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments
• Take and process dental X-rays
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and orthodontic care
• Maintain accurate patient records and charts
• Assist with impressions, braces, and other orthodontic appliances

Qualifications

• Active Dental Assistant certification or registration
• Experience working as an orthodontic dental assistant preferred
• Knowledge of denticon software a plus
• Strong interpersonal skills and a caring demeanor
• Current CPR certification

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of orthodontic procedures and instruments
• Excellent communication and patient interaction skills
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced dental office
• Proficiency with dental software (Denticon preferred)
• Attention to detail and infection control practices
