Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist the orthodontist during patient exams, fittings, and adjustments, ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow
• Prepare and sterilize instruments and operatory rooms between patients to maintain a safe clinical environment
• Take and process dental X-rays and impressions as directed
• Educate patients on post-treatment care and oral hygiene
• Maintain accurate patient records using Denticon, including treatment notes and updates
• Support the front desk team by preparing patient charts and keeping supplies stocked

Qualifications

• Must be orthodontic certified (as noted in the posting)
• Previous experience working in an orthodontic or dental office
• Familiarity with dental practice management software; Denticon experience is a plus
• Strong interpersonal skills and a caring, patient-focused approach
• Ability to work flexible, as-needed shifts

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of orthodontic instruments, bands, brackets, and wires
• Understanding of sterilization and infection control protocols
• Proficiency with digital x-ray systems and intraoral scans
• Skill in documenting and retrieving patient records using Denticon
• Excellent communication and time management abilities
