Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to telemetry, medical-surgical, cardiac, and neuro patients across multiple units
• Titrate cardiac drips such as Amiodarone, Cardene, Nitro, Heparin, and Dobutamine with skill and confidence
• Monitor and interpret EKGs, recognizing dysrhythmias and responding quickly to changes
• Collaborate with charge nurses, clinical supervisors, and physicians to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Float between Chandler and Mercy Gilbert campuses as needed, adapting to different patient populations and unit needs
• Deliver compassionate care to post-cath lab, post-vascular, post-CABG, neuro surgical, and stroke patients

Qualifications

• Active RN license required to submit
• Minimum 2 years of recent RN experience
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• NIHSS certification required
• Must be able to titrate cardiac drips and pass a dysrhythmia exam prior to contract
• Strong telemetry and EKG interpretation skills
• Comfortable floating to different units and campuses

Knowledge & Skills

• Expertise in telemetry monitoring and EKG interpretation
• Skill in cardiac drip titration and dysrhythmia recognition
• Proficiency with Cerner charting system
• Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced acute care environment
• Strong critical thinking and clinical judgment
• Excellent communication for teamwork and patient education
