Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care to patients during the night shift
- Perform thorough patient assessments and monitor clinical status throughout your shift
- Administer medications and treatments safely and document responses
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teammates to ensure continuity of care
- Accurately document care in patient records and communicate clear handoffs
- Float to other areas as needed to support unit staffing and patient needs
- Support a culture of safety by following facility policies and reporting concerns
Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse license for Pennsylvania preferred (PA-only role)
- Willingness to work night shifts and provide every-other-weekend availability
- Comfort floating to other clinical areas as staffing needs require
- Professional, patient-centered attitude and strong teamwork skills
Education
- Associate or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (ASN/BSN) or equivalent nursing education
Knowledge & Skills
- Solid clinical assessment and medication administration skills
- Ability to manage multiple patients and prioritize effectively at night
- Good communication skills for handoffs and interdisciplinary coordination
- Adaptability to float to different units and handle varied patient populations
- Accurate documentation and attention to detail
