Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care to medical-surgical and telemetry patients
• Assess and monitor patient conditions, including vital signs and telemetry readings
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Collaborate with physicians and the healthcare team to develop and implement care plans
• Educate patients and their families on health conditions and post-discharge care
• Document patient care accurately and timely in the electronic medical record
• Respond to patient emergencies and changes in condition with quick thinking and composure

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of California
• Current BLS certification (American Heart Association)
• Previous experience in medical-surgical or telemetry nursing is highly desired
• ACLS certification preferred
• Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
• Ability to work night shifts as scheduled

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid understanding of med-surg and telemetry nursing principles
• Proficiency in patient assessment, medication administration, and IV therapy
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Comfortable using electronic health records (EHR) systems
• Calm and composed under pressure
