Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care to medical-surgical and telemetry patients
• Assess patient conditions and monitor vital signs, ensuring timely interventions
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered, with precision and care
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to develop and adjust care plans
• Educate patients and families on health management and post-discharge care
• Accurately document patient progress and maintain electronic health records
• Respond quickly to changes in patient status, escalating concerns as needed

Qualifications

• Active California RN license (or compact license where applicable)
• Current BLS certification (ACLS preferred)
• Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience, ideally in med-surg or telemetry
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• A genuine passion for helping others

Knowledge & Skills

• Expert knowledge of medical-surgical and telemetry nursing practices
• Proficient in electronic medical records (EMR) systems
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Comfortable with technology and monitoring equipment
