Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care to medical-surgical and telemetry patients
• Monitor vital signs, cardiac rhythms, and assess patient conditions
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
• Educate patients and families on health management and discharge instructions
• Document patient care accurately and timely
• Respond quickly to changes in patient status and escalate as needed

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in California
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• ACLS certification preferred
• Previous med-surg or telemetry experience preferred, but not required
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Ability to work flexible night shifts as needed

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of medical-surgical and telemetry nursing principles
• Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) documentation
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Compassionate and empathetic patient care approach
• Understanding of patient safety and infection control protocols
