Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide clinical leadership and supervision to the patient care team on your assigned shift
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care delivery
• Coordinate bed assignments and patient care to ensure seamless handoffs between shifts
• Analyze assessment data and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to create and adjust care plans
• Document clinical findings and communicate outcomes to physicians and team members
• Teach patients and families to promote health, safety, and self-care
• Serve as a role model and mentor to other members of the health care team
• Participate in unit-based learning and professional development activities to maintain clinical excellence

Qualifications

• ADN (Associate Degree in Nursing) required
• Illinois RN license required
• ACLS required within 90 days of hire
• BLS or CPR certification required within 90 days of hire
• Med/Surg experience strongly preferred
• Strong communication, leadership, and team collaboration skills

Education

• ADN (Associate Degree in Nursing) required

• Clinical documentation and infection control best practices
• Patient education and teaching strategies
• Team leadership, care coordination, and bed management
