Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care to patients on a med-surg/telemetry unit
• Monitor vital signs and cardiac rhythms, responding quickly to changes
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to create and update patient care plans
• Educate patients and families on conditions and discharge instructions
• Document patient assessments and interventions meticulously

Qualifications

• Current, unrestricted RN license in California
• BLS certification (AHA preferred)
• ACLS certification preferred but not required
• Experience in med-surg or telemetry nursing preferred
• Strong critical thinking and communication skills

Knowledge & Skills

• Cardiac monitoring and rhythm interpretation
• Medication administration and IV therapy
• Patient assessment and care planning
• Electronic health record (EHR) documentation
• Effective communication with patients, families, and team members
• Ability to stay calm and composed in fast-paced environments
