Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, resident-centered nursing care in a long term care setting
• Perform thorough assessments and develop individualized care plans
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
• Monitor resident status, recognize changes, and escalate concerns promptly
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate high-quality care
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the medical record
• Support infection control, safety protocols, and regulatory compliance
• Participate in competency testing and continuous professional development

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
• Experience or comfort working in Long Term Care settings preferred
• Completion of Trinity Specialty Specific Competency Testing as required
• License and certificate verification on file
• Ability to complete facility health requirements: fit test, PPD or IGRA, Trinity 10 panel drug screen, respirator evaluation, MMR, Hepatitis B, Varicella, Tdap, COVID-19 vaccine, and seasonal influenza vaccine

Education

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ASN/ADN or BSN) and current RN license

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Medication administration and documentation accuracy
• Knowledge of long term care best practices and resident-centered care
• Familiarity with infection control and respirator use
• Good communication and teamwork skills with residents and staff
• Comfort with electronic medical records and timely charting
• Time management and ability to prioritize in a busy environment
