Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver compassionate, high-quality critical care to adult ICU patients
• Perform thorough patient assessments and continuous bedside monitoring
• Administer medications and manage complex infusion therapies safely
• Operate and troubleshoot ICU equipment including ventilators and hemodynamic monitors
• Respond rapidly to changes in patient condition and participate in emergencies
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and the multidisciplinary team to create and execute care plans
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation and comply with required competency testing
• Educate patients and families with clear, empathetic communication

Qualifications

• Active RN license (able to be verified via Nursys)
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• NIHSS and DCI/BVP certifications as listed
• Completion of required health screenings and immunizations (COVID-19, MMR, TB, Hep B, Influenza, Varicella, Tdap, fit test, drug screen)
• Willingness to complete Prime Core Competencies, Prime Skills & Specialty exams and basic pharmacology testing
• Per diem availability and flexibility for days coverage
• Comfort working in a high-acuity ICU environment

Knowledge & Skills

• Critical care assessment and monitoring
• Ventilator management and respiratory support basics
• Hemodynamic monitoring and titration of vasoactive medications
• Advanced cardiac life support and emergency response
• Medication administration and IV/infusion management
• Infection control best practices and safe patient handling
• Strong clinical judgment, communication, and teamwork skills
