Roles & Responsibilities

• Triage and assess patients in the emergency department with speed and compassion
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as ordered
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to deliver exceptional emergency care
• Monitor vital signs and respond quickly to changes in patient condition
• Provide education and support to patients and families during stressful moments
• Maintain accurate and thorough patient documentation

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in California
• Current BLS certification (ACLS preferred)
• Critical thinking and quick decision-making skills
• Ability to remain calm under pressure
• Previous ER or acute care experience preferred, but new grads with a passion for emergency nursing are welcome to apply

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong clinical assessment and triage skills
• Knowledge of emergency nursing protocols and procedures
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR)
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
