Location: Overland Park, Kansas

Start Date: 06-29-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Day shift, 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM, 36 hours per week, schedule to be confirmed with facility

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $53 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care with compassion and expertise
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
Monitor patient vital signs and report changes to the healthcare team
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and allied health professionals to ensure optimal outcomes
Maintain accurate and thorough patient documentation
Educate patients and families on health management and discharge plans

Qualifications

Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Kansas or compact state
Minimum 1 year of recent acute care nursing experience
BLS certification from the American Heart Association required
Ability to adapt quickly to new environments and protocols
Flexibility to work in various units as needed

Knowledge & Skills

Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) systems
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced healthcare setting
Commitment to patient safety and evidence-based practice
