Electrophysiology Technician - Travel

Location: Orange Park, Florida

Start Date: 08-03-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 4-10 hour shifts per week, 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM, no weekends

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $63 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Scrub for advanced cardiac ablations (RF and Cryo) and device implants like pacemakers and Watchman
Monitor and pace ablation cases, ensuring safe and effective procedures
Support the prep and recovery area as needed, providing seamless patient care
Collaborate with a dedicated team in a state-of-the-art electrophysiology lab

Qualifications

Active RCIS, RCES, or RT(R) certification (or eligible to sit for the exam)
At least 1 year of experience in electrophysiology or cardiac catheterization lab
Proven ability to scrub for ablations and device implants
Must be able to monitor and pace ablation cases independently

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in electrophysiology procedures including cardiac ablation and device implants
Proficiency with GE Innova, Medtronic Cryoconsole, and Carto Mapping systems
Familiarity with MacLab and Meditech documentation systems
Strong teamwork and communication skills in a fast-paced environment
