Roles & Responsibilities

• Interpret high-volume emergency department imaging with accuracy and speed using MERGE
• Read CT studies (all non-cardiac CT) and provide timely stroke/perfusion assessments
• Interpret XR, MR, US and NM studies as required to support the clinical team
• Deliver clear, concise reports and communicate critical findings to ED and consulting clinicians
• Maintain turnaround time and quality metrics while managing a heavy case mix
• Participate in peer review, QA activities and collaborative case discussions to improve patient care
• Adapt to teleradiology workflows and integrate with hospital systems for seamless service

Qualifications

• MD or DO with completed radiology residency
• Board certified or board eligible in Diagnostic Radiology
• Active Ohio medical license or ability to obtain licensure in Ohio
• Proven experience with high-volume ED reads and teleradiology workflows
• Demonstrated competency in CT (non-cardiac), stroke/perfusion interpretation and MERGE platform
• Comfortable interpreting XR, MR, US and NM studies
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with emergency and inpatient teams
• MSK or Neuro subspecialty experience is a plus

Education

• MD or DO (Radiology residency completed)

Knowledge & Skills

• Expertise in cross-sectional imaging, especially CT and MR
• Hands-on experience with stroke perfusion software and acute stroke protocols
• Proficiency with MERGE and PACS-based reporting workflows
• Strong ability to manage high daily volumes while maintaining diagnostic quality
• Effective clinical communication and consultative skills with ED teams
• Familiarity with teleradiology best practices and remote reporting setups
