Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality urologic care to adult and pediatric patients using evidence-based practices
• Perform robot-assisted (da Vinci Xi) and laparoscopic surgeries as part of a busy surgical program
• Provide outpatient procedures including cystoscopy, biopsies, stent removals, vasectomies (local) and PTNS
• Lead and grow prostatectomy and cystectomy programs in collaboration with referring providers
• Document patient care accurately and efficiently in Cerner EMR
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and subspecialty partners to ensure seamless patient care
• Participate in mentoring, teaching residents and contributing to a supportive clinical culture

Qualifications

• Board Eligible or Board Certified in Urology (required)
• Licensed or able to obtain an active Ohio medical license (license requirement typical for the role)
• Comfortable with robot-assisted surgery (da Vinci Xi) and minimally invasive approaches
• Experience or willingness to perform outpatient office procedures (cystoscopy, biopsies, stent removal, PTNS, PNE, Bulkamid, Botox)
• Familiarity with Cerner EMR (documentation and order entry)
• Accepting residents, new grads and experienced physicians — strong mentorship available
• Not accepting visa candidates; position is for physicians authorized to work without visa sponsorship
• Not open to Locum tenens providers

Education

• Medical degree (MD or DO) and completion of Urology residency (Board Eligible/Board Certified)

Knowledge & Skills

• Expertise in urology, minimally invasive and laparoscopic surgery
• Proficiency with surgical robotics (da Vinci Xi) and related OR workflows
• Skilled in outpatient procedural techniques: cystoscopy, prostate/bladder biopsy, vasectomy (local), stent removal
• Experience with urodynamics (CMG), UroNav fusion biopsy, UroLift and ultrasound (Philips Epiq 5)
• Comfortable with neuromodulation and office-based therapies (PNE/Axonics, PTNS, Bulkamid, Botox)
• Strong communication and interdisciplinary collaboration skills
• Efficient and accurate use of Cerner EMR for patient care and documentation
