Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient Maternal-Fetal Medicine consultations and follow-up care in clinic
• Manage consult-only MFM responsibilities across two hospital sites when needed
• Perform limited inpatient procedures and in-office procedures such as cerclage and amniocentesis
• Collaborate closely with Pediatrix-affiliated neonatologists and NNPs to coordinate maternal-fetal and NICU care
• Work alongside Nurse Practitioners who support the two outpatient clinic locations
• Use EPIC and Viewpoint systems to document care and communicate with the care team
• Contribute to a collegial 2+ physician MFM practice focused on high-quality consultative care

Qualifications

• MD or DO with completion of a Maternal-Fetal Medicine fellowship (Board Eligible or Board Certified)
• Board Eligible/Board Certified in MFM (candidates with lapsed certification are not eligible)
• Preferred: at least 1 year of MFM practice experience post-fellowship — new/upcoming graduates are welcome
• Must reside within the immediate local area; relocation may be required and long commutes (>1 hour) are not acceptable
• Not open to locum tenens, 1099 contractors, or candidates requiring visa sponsorship

Education

• MD or DO with Maternal-Fetal Medicine fellowship (Board Eligible or Board Certified)

Knowledge & Skills

• Experience in outpatient clinics and consult-only Maternal-Fetal Medicine practice
• Skilled in performing procedures such as cerclage and amniocentesis (procedural volume is limited)
• Familiarity with EPIC and Viewpoint electronic medical record systems
• Ability to collaborate effectively with NICU/neonatology teams and nurse practitioners
• Strong clinical judgment and clear communication with patients and multidisciplinary teams
