Candidate Pay Rate: $70 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Assess patients’ physical abilities and develop individualized treatment plans
- Deliver therapeutic interventions and progress evidence-based care
- Document patient progress thoroughly and communicate changes to the care team
- Collaborate with occupational therapists, nurses, and physicians for holistic care
- Educate patients and families on home programs and safety to promote independence
- Maintain a safe treatment environment and follow facility protocols
- Participate in orientation and contribute to a positive team culture
Qualifications
- Valid Physical Therapist license in California or eligibility to obtain one
- Current BLS/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Comfortable with full-time, Monday–Friday day shifts and a 3-day orientation
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work within a multidisciplinary team
- Prior experience in medical/acute care settings is a plus
Education
- Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) preferred or equivalent degree in Physical Therapy
Knowledge & Skills
- Skilled in patient assessment, therapeutic exercise, and gait training
- Knowledge of safety, infection control, and documentation best practices
- Ability to create measurable goals and track patient outcomes
- Good time management and prioritization in a busy clinical environment
- Strong communication skills for patient education and team collaboration
