Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver compassionate, high-quality dental hygiene care to patients
• Perform dental cleanings, assessments, and charting with precision and empathy
• Take and develop dental X-rays while ensuring patient comfort and safety
• Educate patients on oral hygiene best practices and preventive care
• Support the dentist during procedures and maintain a seamless workflow
• Sterilize equipment and maintain a clean, compliant treatment environment
• Accurately document patient treatments and update health histories

Qualifications

• Active Dental Hygienist license in the state of Pennsylvania
• Current CPR/BLS certification required
• Strong clinical skills with attention to patient comfort
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Ability to work independently and as part of a dental team
• Comfort with dental software and digital radiography

Knowledge & Skills

• In-depth knowledge of dental hygiene procedures and instruments
• Proficiency in taking digital and traditional radiographs
• Understanding of infection control and OSHA standards
• Knowledge of dental anatomy and periodontal disease
• Strong documentation and record-keeping skills
• Patient education and chairside manner expertise
