Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform thorough dental cleanings and patient screenings
• Educate patients on oral hygiene techniques and preventive care
• Take and develop dental x-rays to support diagnostics
• Administer local anesthetics as needed
• Document patient care and update dental charts
• Collaborate with dentists to plan and execute treatment

Qualifications

• Current Dental Hygienist license in the state of Virginia
• CPR/BLS certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Strong patient communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• New graduates welcome to apply

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of dental hygiene instruments and procedures
• Proficiency in dental software for charting and records
• Excellent interpersonal and patient education skills
• Attention to detail and infection control practices
