Roles & Responsibilities
- Deliver compassionate and thorough dental hygiene care to patients of all ages
- Perform dental cleanings, take radiographs, and apply preventive treatments
- Educate patients on oral hygiene best practices and personalized care plans
- Assist the dentist during procedures and ensure a smooth patient flow
- Maintain strict infection control and sterilization standards
- Document patient care accurately and efficiently
Qualifications
- Active Pennsylvania Dental Hygienist license
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Exceptional patient care and communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with the dental team
- Experience in a clinical dental setting preferred
Knowledge & Skills
- Proficient in dental cleanings, scaling, and root planing
- Knowledge of digital radiography and imaging techniques
- Understanding of infection control protocols
- Patient education and preventive care strategies
- Strong documentation and organizational skills
