Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist the orthodontist during braces adjustments, retainers, and other procedures
• Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) for treatment planning
• Prepare and sterilize instruments and ensure a clean, safe environment
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and orthodontic care
• Maintain accurate patient records and update treatment notes

Qualifications

• Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) or equivalent certification
• X-ray/radiology certification required
• Prior orthodontic experience is a plus
• Ability to work afternoon and evening shifts
• A warm, caring bedside manner

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficiency with dental software (e.g., Denticon) is a bonus
• Knowledge of orthodontic instruments and procedures
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational abilities
