Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate daily care to geriatric residents
• Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, and dining
• Monitor and report vital signs and changes in resident condition
• Support residents with mobility and safe transfers
• Document care accurately and maintain resident records
• Partner with nurses and care team to ensure safety and comfort

Qualifications

• Active Geriatric Nursing Assistant (GNA) certification in Maryland
• Current CPR certification preferred
• Experience caring for older adults in long-term care settings
• Completed COVID-19 vaccination or documented exemption
• Ability to pass background checks and provide valid identification

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of personal care and ADL assistance
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively within a care team
• Attention to detail in documentation and reporting
• Physical stamina and safe lifting techniques
