Candidate Pay Rate: $16 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, respectful care to geriatric residents
- Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, toileting, and eating
- Support residents with mobility, transfers, and repositioning to ensure comfort and safety
- Observe and document residents' conditions, reporting changes to nursing staff
- Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents
- Communicate with the care team to deliver individualized, person-centered care
Qualifications
- Active Maryland Geriatric Nursing Assistant (GNA) certification required
- Must have completed the COVID-19 vaccination series or present a documented medical/religious exemption
- Must bring state or federal issued ID and wear a photo badge at all times
- Compassionate, dependable, and attentive to residents' needs
- Previous experience in geriatric or long-term care preferred
Knowledge & Skills
- Knowledge of ADL assistance and proper body mechanics
- Strong observation and communication skills
- Ability to follow care plans and document accurately
- Understanding of infection control and safety protocols
- Empathy and patience when working with elderly residents
