Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of MRI procedures with precision and independence
• Ensure patient safety by following strict MRI safety protocols
• Exercise independent judgment and initiative to produce high-quality diagnostic images
• Collaborate with the Director of Radiology and Medical Director to deliver optimal patient care
• Provide compassionate care to patients of all ages, including inpatients, outpatients, and emergency cases
• Participate in quality control and assurance activities to maintain department standards

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA-approved Radiologic Technology program
• Prior experience in MRI within a hospital setting
• Active ARRT certification and MRI registry
• CPR certification
• Venipuncture certification (or ability to obtain within 3 months of hire)
• Ability to provide at least two recent supervisory references

Education

• Graduate of an AMA-approved school of Radiologic Technology

Knowledge & Skills

• Comprehensive knowledge of MRI safety and procedures
• Strong technical skills in radiologic technology
• Independent judgment and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams
• Proficiency in venipuncture
• Familiarity with ARRT and MRI registry requirements
