Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist the orthodontist with braces adjustments, Invisalign fittings, and other procedures
• Prepare patients for treatment and ensure their comfort throughout visits
• Take and process dental X-rays, impressions, and digital scans
• Educate patients and families on proper oral hygiene and orthodontic care
• Sterilize instruments and maintain a clean, organized clinical environment

Qualifications

• Fully knowledgeable in orthodontics, including braces and Invisalign
• Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) or Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) preferred
• Previous experience as a dental assistant, ideally in an orthodontic setting
• Excellent patient communication and customer service skills

Knowledge & Skills

• Understanding of orthodontic procedures, equipment, and terminology
• Proficiency with dental software for patient records and scheduling
• Ability to work collaboratively with a team and support multiple providers
• Strong attention to detail and adherence to infection control protocols
