Roles & Responsibilities

• Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments to ensure a safe and welcoming environment for every patient
• Assist the orthodontist during procedures, handing instruments and anticipating needs to keep appointments running smoothly
• Take dental radiographs and intraoral scans with precision and care
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene and post-treatment care, helping them feel confident in their smiles
• Maintain accurate patient records and manage orthodontic supplies to keep the practice running efficiently
• Provide friendly chairside support, making patients feel comfortable throughout their visit

Qualifications

• Orthodontic Certification required
• Dental Assistant experience preferred
• Current Radiology Certification (if applicable)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment
• Strong attention to detail and patient care

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of orthodontic procedures and terminology
• Proficiency in dental radiography and intraoral scanning
• Understanding of infection control and sterilization protocols
• Strong patient care and communication abilities
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced clinical setting
• Familiarity with electronic dental records
